Governance of our school 

Woods Bank Academy school is being supported this academic year by Governance Review + meetings. This means that the school is being governed centrally by the Operations Group acting under delegated authority from The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust Board (see information about our Trust governance and financial information here).

In the longer term, local representatives (pupils, parents, staff and the wider community) will be supported to form an advisory Community Council to provide local knowledge, understanding and expertise around ethos, vision and curriculum on behalf of the community that the school serves.
